December 1st, the first official day of my retirement, Tom and I purchased Liv, a Cougar 310 RLS 5th wheel–soon to be our home away from home.

December 15th we bought the Chevy 2500 Silverado with a diesel engine to pull Liv and December 29th we brought Liv home to meet the neighbors and friends!

Once we were done showing off to everyone, we had to park Liv in a storage lot about 15 minutes from our house–it took 23 minutes in 12 degree F weather with a clearance of about 18″ – 24″ on either side. Thankfully, the second time we did this, it went much smoother and quicker!
