Sedona & Camp Verde Area

Yet again, we continue to be surprised and overwhelmed with the varied beauty of Arizona. We spent a week camped at the Zane Gray RV Park in Camp Verde, about 30 minutes SE of Sedona and were able to experience hiking in the red rock area of Sedona, wandering the Chapel of the Holy Cross as it looms over Sedona, visiting more cliff dwelling ruins, tasting Arizona wine, with a bonus visit from Tom’s cousin, Scott Ferris at our camp site and lunch with Dee & Vince Pipitone, former Lockheed friends from our England days,  up in Flagstaff. Meanwhile, we’ve been dodging snow along the way!
