Canada: Vancouver Island

August 27 – September 4: The smoke cleared after a few days of rain and behold, Vancouver Island! One of the most beautiful places on earth! After an adventurous ferry ride with Liv and Vigo (the rig in its full capacity), we drove over the island to the Tofino-Ucluelet area, visiting the perimeter of Pacific Rim National Park.

We headed back over the Victoria side of the island on August 29 camping north of Victoria, just south of Sidney and Swartz Bay. We had a few days of site seeing and riding our bikes on a variety of trails in the area. Grace took the ferry from Seattle on September 1st joining us in Victoria and hanging with us for the following week.
