Asheville, NC (April 4th and April 8th): We spent two days in Asheville checking out a few major sites, the most amazing of them being the Biltmore House, built by Cornelius Vanderbilt in the late 1800s. We also drove part of the Blue Ridge Parkway from Asheville to Cherokee, NC.

Blue Ridge Parkway runs 460 miles starting in Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smokey Mountains in Cherokee, North Carolina. We traveled the portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway from Asheville to Cherokee.
