August 1 – 4: I have to admit that I’ve had Gordon Lightfoot’s, “The Edumund Fitzgerald” floating around in my mind for the past week or so as we’ve been traveling around the “Big Lake they call gitche gumee”, seen the ore boats in Two Harbors and Duluth, MN loaded with ore pellets travel through the Soo Locks at Sault St. Marie and of course toured quite a few light houses. We even camped on Whitefish Bay!
