Camping in a Covid World – Part 2: Ridgway Area (June 20 -24)

I believe this is probably the prettiest part of Colorado and we didn’t even get to Telluride, Ouray or Silverton, but have been there in the past. We had 3 nights at Ridgway State Park. We enjoyed the state park with hiking and biking and then drives to get a better view of the mountains.

Ridgway State Park: Hike around the east side of Ridgway Reservoir, a bike ride from the campground to Ridgway with a stop at the Dennis Weaver Memorial Park. I was amazed to see a sail boat on the reservoir!

June 21: Last Dollar Road from Ridgway to Telluride

June 22: Owl Creek Pass Road from Ridgway to Hwy 50 East of Montrose
