I thought visiting Yellowstone National Park might be a little quieter after Labor Day weekend and with the Covid Pandemic, the tour buses wouldn’t be clogging the view spots and there would be no foreign visitors. I heard in October that Yellowstone’s September visitors was the highest on record! So much for avoiding crowds! That being said, it is our nature to avoid crowds and our early start times each morning provided sunrises, fog and brisk temps, it also allowed us to visit the main sites with little or no other folks. We saved our hikes for the afternoon when the big tour spots were totally packed.
