September 15 – 19: Our New Hampshire visit was mostly focused on Tom’s genealogy research in Concord, Peterborough and surrounding small towns. We camped at a lovely campground full of very friendly people and beautiful views on a little lake/pond near Contookook, NH.

Tom and my GPSs disagreed how to get to the campground…a problem that we’ve had over the past two years. Thankfully, we got a signage warning before committing to a bad plan!

We rendezvoused with family on my sister’s in-law’s side, Tom Wahle and his wife Lynn. Tom built his own mini houseboat and we got to take a ride with him on the Merrimack River.

Liv would NOT like this bridge! Tom’s GPS said thought it would be fine!
