February 5 – 7, 2024: We headed to Big Bend National Park, which we had visited 4 years prior. This time we stayed in Rio Grande Village area on the east end of the park. Big Bend NP literature breaks the park into three main sections, the river, the desert and the mountains, but as you can see, they all meld together for breath taking scenery.

We hiked around Lone Mountain, then took the drive up to the Chisos Basin, the mountainous area of Big Ben NP.
